It is the oldest hotel in Jerusalem built in 1830 as lodging for Russian troops and pilgrims. It is a good example of arab architecture. The rooftop has a spectacular view over the Mount of Olives and gethsemane garden and a breathtaking view of the Dome of the Rock.
