Welcome to our private retreat, only a short stroll to the Tongariro River and just minutes to Lake Taupo, Tongariro National Park and Mount Ruapehu Ski Fields. Unwind on the decks of this fully self contained lodge next to the river. Built to capture the all day sun and set amongst landscaped gardens, it is an excellent base to explore the delights of the region or just a quiet place to relax. Wander down to the Tongariro River via private access, ski down Whakapapa's slopes, relax in the Tokaanu hot pools, walk in the the Tongariro National Park or spend your time catching trout in the many rivers and lakes in the region. Three private ensuite double bedrooms plus a twin room all with heaters, electric blankets and extra blankets. A fully equipped kitchen includes fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. There is also a rod/ski room plus outdoor furniture and BBQ, washer, dryer, TV, video, and stereo.
