This holiday home is a traditional Lockwood, originally a Turangi tunneler's home when the Tongariro Power Scheme was developed 40 years ago. A solid wood burner stove heats the living area. The book shelves are loaded with a range of regional history, National park and fishing books, as well as board games. TV is absent. The fully equipped kitchen is well equiped with functional features. The bach sleeps five comfortably, on good beds, plus a fold out sofa for an additional couple.
