The lodge is a family home that has been designed to accommodate up to 14 people comfortably. It is a very warm house that has a fire that heats the whole house, with plenty of wood available. The house consists of two levels which means that its ideally suited to two families or large groups. The lower floor has a Pool Room and table, Double Bed, Bathroom, Shower with new washing machine and dryer. A large bedroom that has accommodation for 4 people. There is also a sunny conservatory that leads to the lovely outside garden area. The upper has 2 x 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, and 1 Queen. Lovely bathroom, shower, bath and toilet, another toilet is located downstairs. The lounge is huge that opens into a large dinning room with kitchen that is very practical and serviceable. The dinning area opens out onto a large sunny deck that also gives access to the garden via steps. The house is like a home with all but sheets and pillowcases. There is ample spare bedding available, with extra beds located in the Pool Room and Consevatory. Accommodates 14 comfortably. The Lodge is located at Te Rangiita which is 25 minutes south of Taupo and 15 minutes north of Turangi. We are located a stones throw from the Tauranga Taupo river and a 3 minute drive from the nearest boat ramp and lake. Your able to be on the mountain Whakapapa in just 50 minutes and 90 minutes to Turoa. We have easy access by foot to the lake, a gentle walk of 10 minutes more or less.
