Located in a river valley in the Waitakere Ranges, only 30 minutes by car out of Auckland. The guest cottage is well equipped, has excellent cooking facilities and is maintained to a high standard. Lounge with TV. Baby cot with linen available. Laundry facilities at the main house. A sprawling country garden adjoins the guest cottage. There are swings for children and garden furniture with a sun umbrella. We have a friendly Border Collie working dog and graze a few cattle. Hens free range the orchard. Fruit and nectar bearing trees are planted to attract birds - more than 30 different types listed at last count. There are over 200km of walking tracks through spectacular rainforest scenery in the Ranges and a rugged West Coast surf beach just down the road.
