Anakiwa (Marlborough - South Island)

Anakiwa (Marlborough - South Island)

Taranui is situated at Anakiwa, in Queen Charlotte sound, at the start of the glorious Queen Charlotte Walkway. It is one of two houses available, nestled amongst native bush and birds on a sunny sheltered site, with panoramic views from the decks, living areas, and all bedrooms. A brief walk through the beech trees leads to a quiet beach. The secluded Anakiwa settlement has many attractions, including the Outward Bound school, sea kayaking and mountain bike hire. Sheltered beaches and bays are home to many fish, sea birds, seals and dolphins. The Queen Charlotte Walkway provides for extended tramps or brief strolls. Taranui has sealed road access, just 30 mins. from Picton, Marlborough wineries and historical sites, and 1 hour from Nelson.
