SÉQUOIA PARC is surrounded by fields of sunflowers, vine-yards, forests and the "marais", natural meadows with ditches and lots of possibilities for sporting recreation. The quiet country roads are ideal for bike riders to explore the surroundings and some of you may like to take lessons in professional horseriding or supervised treks through the beautiful estates. The area around Marennes has a wonderful gentle climate due to the combined protection provided by the island of Oléron and extensive forests of La Coubre. It is the sunniest climate apart from the Côte d'Azur and the average temperature is about 25 degrees. In Spring and early Autumn the weather remains very mild and sunny.
