Skanderborg (Aarhus)Skanderborg (Aarhus) The camp site is situated in a former fruit plantation where more than 80 of the old fruit trees still survive and many other plants give good shelter and shade. The camp site is divided into sections by trees and bushes, which gives a lot of cosy areas. The pitches are naturally placed in the terrain and are between 90 - 110 m2 each. Not only are the pitches large, there is also a lot of free place between the rows. There are no special areas for tents on the site. Tents have access to the same nice pitches as caravans, campers etc. As there is no permanent camping on Skanderborg Lake Camping, all pitches are available for tourists. Skanderborg Lake Camping is a well organised site. There are 4 toilet buildings around the site, so all pitches are close to well kept facilities. The camp site is 9ha and approx. 1/3 is not used for camping, but is well cared for and nature abounds where children can play and adults take a walk. The camp site has its own private lakeside approx. 300m from the camping area itself reachable by a nice small path through the wood.
