Ashton Glen Cottage is a small farmhouse located on our sheep and cropping farm at Clinton in South Otago's Clutha District. It is nestled at the base of the Popotunoa Hill and enjoys a wonderful view of Otago’s Blue Mountains to the north. We are 4 km's off State Highway One and 7 km's from the town-ship of Clinton. We are 20 minutes from Balclutha and 25 minutes to Gore. One hour & 20 minutes to Dunedin City and one hour, 10 minutes to Invercargill. We are an hours drive to Dunedin Airport. Our cottage is a perfect base for those who love trout fishing. It is also a nice relaxing spot for you and your family if you just want to get away from the ‘rat race’ for a few days, provided you don’t mind being surrounded by farm life. The wonderful southern scenery can be enjoyed within short day trips of our cottage. We boast that we are central to everywhere.
